Are cast aluminium armoured doors suitable for villas and self-built family houses in China?

Yes. Cast aluminium armoured doors can be made in non-standard sizes, with a heavy, solid look and a range of surface finishes, and are commonly used as entrance doors for villas, self-built family houses in China and high-end homes. The final structure still has to be confirmed against the door opening, the opening type, the door weight, the wall and the conditions of use.

What does Jingyi Doors' nine-stage paint process mean?

Jingyi's published description is a nine-stage surface treatment that includes two high-temperature curing cycles. What it stresses is a complete surface treatment and the demands of outdoor use. It does not mean that every colour, texture and project uses exactly the same parameters. The actual result is confirmed by the sample, the drawings and the order.

Why can't you judge a high-end cast aluminium door by panel thickness alone?

The panel is only one measure. You also need to look at the door structure, the frame profiles, the door core, hinge load capacity, sag prevention, the lock body, the seals, the glass make-up and the installation conditions. A single thickness figure cannot stand for the quality of the whole door.

Can the smart lock offer face recognition, fingerprint, PIN code and remote unlocking?

These can be chosen as options, depending on the lock model, but confirm in advance the cut-outs in the door, the lock body specification, the power supply, the network conditions and what after-sales service covers. Remote app functions also depend on the lock brand's platform and local network conditions.

Glass configuration

Can one door have Low-E glass and a 'silver glass' look at the same time?

Many configurations can do both, but this should not be understood simply as 'two coatings on a finished pane'. Low-E is a functional low-emissivity coating. 'Silver glass' can mean a colour, a reflective appearance or a specific product name, depending on the supplier. An insulating glass unit can combine different panes and coated surfaces to meet both thermal and appearance requirements. You must ask the manufacturer for a diagram of the glass build-up, the positions of the coated surfaces, colour samples and performance data.

Is Low-E glass better the more coating layers it has?

No. You need to weigh visible light transmission, shading coefficient, thermal insulation, reflected colour, toughening and the insulating glass build-up together. A coating on the wrong surface can affect service life or appearance. It is more sensible to choose by orientation, climate and privacy needs.

Measuring, transport and installation

Can Jingyi Doors measure and install doors in other cities across China?

For projects in China, measuring, transport and installation can be planned according to the project location and site conditions. Whether this includes a site visit, removing the old door, door casing work, lifting the door to upper floors and local construction work has to be confirmed item by item before ordering and written into the order; a verbal promise of 'installation included anywhere in China' is not enough. Outside China we do not measure on site or send installation crews: your side measures the opening and we check the measurements and drawings with you, and your local installers fit the door following our installation drawings, with remote guidance from the factory by video call, photos and drawings.

Buying from a factory far from the site: how do you reduce the risk of wrong sizes and transport damage?

Send photos of the door opening from several angles, the finished floor level, and details of the wall and the delivery route. Confirm the drawings after the opening has been measured; outside China, your side measures and we check the measurements and drawings with you. Check the finished door against the specification before it is packed. Agree the logistics handover, inspection of the outer packaging, an unpacking record and who is responsible for damage. Export orders are crated at the factory and supplied EXW (our factory in Wuyi) or FOB (a Chinese port); from there you or your forwarder handle shipping, customs and local delivery.

What if the door sags, lets in draughts or the lock does not work properly after installation?

First find out whether the cause is the structure, hinge adjustment, whether the frame is plumb, seal compression or how the lock body was installed. The order should state the installation acceptance criteria, who is responsible for adjustment and the after-sales contact. Keep photos and videos from the site. For doors installed outside China, your local installers make the adjustments, with remote guidance from the factory.

Price and ordering

Why doesn't Jingyi Doors compete on the lowest price?

The cost of a high-end custom door covers surface treatment, structure, hardware, seals, non-standard production, packing and transport, and project delivery. Jingyi is a better fit for customers who care about the specification and long-term use. It does not cut the specification to compete for the lowest quote.

What should I send when asking for a quote?

The width and height of the door opening, the opening method, whether it is a single, unequal double or double door, the architectural style, colour preferences, whether you want glass or a smart lock, the project city, site photos and a rough budget. The more complete the information, the closer the specification and quote will be to the final solution.

What must be written into the order before you place it?

Sizes, opening type, colour, panel and door structure, door core, hardware, seals, glass, smart lock, measuring, packing, transport, installation, lead time, acceptance, payment milestones and the scope of after-sales service.
