What is most easily overlooked in a high-end villa entrance door is not the surface style. It is whether the door opening, door core, frame and leaf, hinges, threshold, finish and smart electronic controls form one matched solution. Jingyi Doors has organised its existing construction documents, detail drawings, process flows and experience of non-standard projects into the Jingyi Panjie 9-Dimension Armoured Door Engineering System (Chinese name: 景义·磐界九维装甲技术体系).
"9-Dimension" does not mean the door always has nine layers, and it is not a national standard, a patent or a third-party certification. It is a framework Jingyi has built for confirming the engineering of high-end villa entrance doors: each dimension should be tied to a construction drawing, a specification sheet, production documents or terms agreed in the order, not rest on a catchy name alone.
What does each of the nine Panjie dimensions solve?
1. Panxu: multi-structure matching system
Different door openings cannot all take the same door. Jingyi's existing technical documents record 13 construction-type codes, covering steel frames with aluminium leaves, all-aluminium system doors, thermal-break system doors, offset pivot doors and other types. Each construction has different front and back panels, door core, hinges, door gaps, opening type and suitable sizes. Panxu means choosing the construction first, from the opening, the way the door opens, the environment, the weight and the design requirements, and only then moving on to the quotation.
2. Panxin: six-sided box armoured door core
The door core is not something that can be left out just because the client cannot see it. Some of Jingyi's steel-frame, aluminium-leaf constructions combine perimeter profiles, a six-sided box-shaped core panel and foam infill into a composite core; other constructions may use aluminium honeycomb or a different infill. The six-sided box core is not standard on every Jingyi model; the actual construction must be written into the order specification.
3. Shuangjie: thermal-break frame and leaf system
A thermal-break system door is not an ordinary door with an insulating strip stuck on. The frame, leaf, threshold and seal details together separate inside from outside. Jingyi's HT series documents include thermal-break frames and leaves and several threshold details, which can be used when assessing projects in very cold regions, in places with large temperature differences, or where the client values a complete system. The product name does not mean that Passive House certification has been obtained; the actual heat transfer, air-tightness and water-tightness figures are as stated in tests of the matching door type and in the project's standards.
4. Weijie: 3 mm narrow-gap detail
The documents for some of Jingyi's all-aluminium and thermal-break constructions record a design gap of about 3 mm, used to make the frame, leaf and decorative face look more of a piece. The actual gap is affected by size, fabrication, installation and adjustment. A narrow-gap detail cannot be taken as equal to a tested class of sound insulation, air-tightness or water-tightness.
5. Qingheng: heavy-duty adjustable hinge system
The taller, wider and heavier the door, the less its hinges can be treated as ordinary fittings. Jingyi matches the hinges to the door construction, weight, opening angle and the adjustment needed later. Some constructions can be fitted with precision-cast 304 stainless steel multi-axis concealed hinges with multi-directional adjustment. The brand, number of axes, quantity and opening angle are as stated in the specification of the specific door type.
6. Lingjie: 4-metre-class non-standard engineering system
An extra-tall door is not an ordinary door scaled up. In Jingyi's existing size documents, some all-aluminium, thermal-break and offset pivot constructions can be assessed for 4-metre-class door frames. Whether a door can finally be made depends on assessing the panels, weight, hinges, frame, transport, handling and site installation conditions together; it cannot be summed up as "any size can be made".
7. Jiulian: nine-stage finish with two curing cycles
Jingyi's existing process documents record a nine-stage surface treatment, including pre-treatment, sanding, base coat, top coat, clear gloss coat, two high-temperature curing cycles and light exposure (照光). The powder, paint and colour scheme used for each series are as stated in the order's process sheet. The nine stages show how the process is managed; they cannot replace salt-spray, UV-ageing or fixed weathering-life tests for a specific model.
8. Jingjie: multiple threshold details
The threshold affects drainage, sealing, the level difference between inside and outside, and everyday access, all at once. Jingyi's documents include stepped (high-low) thresholds, flush thresholds and some designs with no bottom sill. Each detail has its trade-offs and must be confirmed against exposure to rain, the finished floor level, accessibility requirements and the installation site.
9. Zhishu: dual-power embedded electronic control system
A smart door should not have to wait until production is finished to have holes cut on site. Jingyi includes the lock body, mains power, lithium battery, embedded cable conduits, service access and back-up power in the early design, and its existing documents include several ways of connecting mains power and fitting lithium batteries. The actual voltage, battery life, recognition methods and remote functions are as stated in the instructions for the chosen smart lock and power equipment.
What practical value does this system have for clients?
- Quotes are easier to compare: you compare not just the price per square metre, but the construction, door core, finish, hardware, smart features and delivery conditions.
- Non-standard risks show up earlier: weight, opening, transport, handling, threshold and finishing at installation are confirmed before production.
- Marketing claims can be checked: each technical name should match a detail drawing, workshop photos, a process description or a specification document.
- Delivery away from the factory is clearer: responsibilities for measuring, drawings, production approval, packing, transport and installation are written into the delivery chain.
Which clients is Jingyi right for?
Jingyi is better suited to villas, self-built family houses in China and small-batch projects where materials, construction, finish, non-standard design and confirmation of delivery matter. Jingyi does not compete mainly on lowest price. If you only compare the lowest quotes and are not prepared to confirm the door construction, hardware, workmanship and installation conditions, we may not be a good fit for each other.
Frequently asked questions
Is Panjie 9-Dimension a national certification?
No. It is a framework for engineering confirmation and marketing that Jingyi has built from its existing technical, construction, process and project documents. It does not replace national standards, patents, certification or third-party testing.
Does 9-Dimension mean the door has nine layers?
No. The nine dimensions are nine kinds of engineering question. They do not mean that every Jingyi door has a fixed nine-layer construction. Panels, door cores, infill, frames and leaves differ from series to series.
Do all Jingyi doors use the six-sided box core and the 3 mm gap?
No. The six-sided box core and the design gap of about 3 mm apply only to the constructions for which the documents clearly record them. The actual specification is as stated in the final drawing, specification sheet and contract.
Can every style be made in the 4-metre class?
No. Some constructions can be assessed for 4-metre-class door frames, but this has to be judged together with the door weight, panels, hinges, transport and installation conditions.
