Jingyi SkyArc door design evidence: 5 certificates and a new search record

Five design patent certificates on file, plus a Wanfang record added on 11 September 2026. A design does not replace a model's whole-door performance documents.

Published , updated . Zhejiang Jingyi Door Industry Co., Ltd.

Summary: this page publishes the five design patent certificates on file, with duplicates removed. On 11 September 2026 it added a "door frame rounded corner" record found in the Wanfang database. For the certificates and for the database record, the source, numbers and holder are listed separately so that buyers can check them. A design does not replace whole-door performance documents for a specific model.

Added 11 September 2026: search record for a door frame rounded corner

The five records originally on this page come from the five patent certificates on file, after duplicates were removed. They are not the total number of patents held by Zhejiang Benniu Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. (浙江本牛工贸有限公司). On 11 September 2026, a search of the Wanfang Data database with this company as applicant/patent holder found six design records. Compared number by number with the five below, one is new: a "door frame rounded corner".

  • Application/patent number: CN202530672445.3; publication/announcement number: CN310030675S.
  • Application date: 14 November 2025; publication/announcement date: 12 June 2026.
  • Applicant/patent holder: Zhejiang Benniu Industry and Trade Co., Ltd.; designer: Zhu Hongjie (朱宏杰).
  • The Wanfang detail page records "granted" on 12 June 2026. You can open the Wanfang patent details for the "door frame rounded corner" (in Chinese) and check each item.

The source of this addition is a public database record. The original certificate and the certificate number are not yet on file, so it must not be described as "six certificates obtained". For the current legal status, the latest patent register and announcements of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) remain the authority. This record does not change the distinction between Benniu and Jingyi as legal entities, and it cannot prove the whole door's thermal insulation, sound insulation, air-tightness, water-tightness or burglar resistance.

Jingyi SkyArc thermal-break cabin door system: arched door frame in the showroom
Jingyi SkyArc thermal-break cabin door system: arched door frame in the showroom

First, to be clear: this is evidence of related designs, not a "system performance patent"

"SkyArc Thermal-Break Cabin Door System" is the product system name Jingyi Doors uses when it describes, as one combination, the arched door frame shape, the choice of thermal-break profiles, the seal path, the door leaf construction and the hardware specification. "Cabin door" expresses the sense of an arched, wrapped-round frame, a heavy door leaf and a system approach to the specification. It does not mean aviation certification, and it is not an aircraft door.

The five certificates on file below, with duplicates removed, cover designs for a door frame profile, a door face profile, a door frame curved corner and door frame right-angle corners. These five documents are not a list of all the company's patents. Every certificate names Zhejiang Benniu Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. as patent holder and Zhu Hongjie as designer.

Zhejiang Jingyi Door Industry Co., Ltd. is the current operating company of Jingyi Doors. At the same production site, Jingyi took over the equipment, door business and production team previously run by Zhejiang Benniu Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., and continues the existing door production system. The accurate wording is therefore "design patents related to the same production system Jingyi belongs to". The certificates must not be rewritten as "patents held by Zhejiang Jingyi Door Industry Co., Ltd.".

Grant details of the five certificates on file

The information below is taken from the patent certificates issued by the China National Intellectual Property Administration. The grant information on a certificate and the current legal status of a patent are not the same thing. For use in a contract, a licence or enforcement, go by CNIPA's latest patent register and announcements.

The two "door frame right-angle corner" entries are not duplicates: their certificate numbers, patent numbers, application dates and grant announcement dates are all different. Published certificate images should each be labelled with their patent number, so that one is not mistaken for the other.

What does a design patent actually prove?

A "Brief Description of the Design" is also attached. It gives the product name as "door frame", its use as "a door frame for mounting a door panel" and the key design feature as its "shape", and it names Design 1 as the basic design. The document does not give an application or patent number that would tie it to one patent, so it cannot be taken to correspond to any one of the patents above, and it must not be counted as an additional granted certificate.

Brief description of the door frame design: product use and key design feature
The brief description of the design states the product's use and key design feature. It cannot replace performance testing.

So these designs mainly prove three things:

  1. there is an identifiable design for the door frame, the door face profile and the corner shapes;
  2. the patent holder, designer and grant date on the certificates can be checked;
  3. arched, right-angle or mitred corners are not adjectives made up for an article; they are backed by the corresponding design documents and by physical products on display.

What evidence can a design patent not replace?

A design patent protects how a product looks. It does not directly prove any of the following:

  • sound insulation value;
  • thermal insulation or heat transfer coefficient (U-value);
  • air-tightness, water-tightness and wind-load resistance classes;
  • burglar-resistance security class;
  • how long the lock resists technical opening, such as picking;
  • how many years the finish will withstand the weather;
  • suitability for a particular region or project.

If a door is shown only with a patent certificate, and the supplier will not provide the profile cross-sections, specification sheet, seal path, lock model, glass make-up and installation details, the buyer still cannot judge whether the actual product delivered suits the way and the place it will be used.

How does Jingyi turn design evidence into checks on the order?

Buying a high-end custom door is not buying a fixed data sheet. The opening size, opening direction, wall, canopy, local climate, leaf size and smart lock all change the specification. Jingyi suggests writing the following into the approved drawing or the order annex:

1. Frame and thermal break

  • whether the frame has arched corners or right-angle/mitred corners;
  • profile series, wall thickness and surface treatment, confirmed for the specific model;
  • whether thermal-break strips are used, and their material and connection position;
  • how the frame is fixed to the wall, how the gap is filled and how the edges are finished.

2. Seal path

  • how many seals actually make contact between leaf and frame;
  • seal material, position and continuity at the corners;
  • threshold, waterproofing at the bottom and drainage outside;
  • whether there are sidelights, a transom or other details that need separate treatment.

3. Door leaf construction

  • outer face material and its actual thickness;
  • inner and outer protective layers, reinforcing framework and infill material;
  • anti-sag design for extra-tall, extra-wide or double doors;
  • matching the leaf weight to the hinge load capacity.

4. Hardware and smart lock

  • lock body, cylinder, number of locking points, and brand and model;
  • number of hinges, load capacity per hinge and how they adjust;
  • smart-lock cut-outs, power supply and suitability for the outdoor environment;
  • back-up mechanical opening and the plan for after-sales replacement.

5. Delivery and acceptance

  • who is responsible for measuring, when re-measuring takes place and who approves the drawings;
  • packing method, and where delivery ends (in China, at the freight terminal or at the door; for export, EXW our factory in Wuyi or FOB a Chinese port, after which the buyer or their forwarder handles shipping, customs and local delivery);
  • who is responsible for installation, adjustment, protection and finishing the edges;
  • acceptance checks on arrival: appearance, opening and closing, locks, gaps and seals.

How can an end owner tell whether a maker is only selling a concept?

Ask the manufacturer five direct questions:

  1. Can you write out in full the patent number, holder and designer shown on the certificate?
  2. Can you explain whether the patent protects the appearance or the structure, without mixing the two up?
  3. Can I see the matching profiles, doors in production, the actual products in the showroom or the approved drawings?
  4. Can you write the thermal break, seals, door leaf and hardware item by item into the order specification?
  5. Can you set out who is responsible for what, from re-measuring through production, packing and transport to installation?

A supplier who can answer all five is worth more to a buyer than broad claims such as "lots of patents", "aviation grade" or "top ten brand".

How can export traders use this evidence index?

When a trading company in China or an individual SOHO trader buys a high-end entrance door for an overseas client for the first time, this page can be the starting point for pre-qualifying the supplier. They should still ask, order by order, for documents in English or in Chinese and English:

  • company and manufacturing relationship statement;
  • patent certificate and legal-status check;
  • approved shop drawing;
  • bill of materials and hardware schedule;
  • frame/wall installation detail;
  • packing plan and crate dimensions;
  • inspection photos or video before shipment;
  • spare parts and after-sales responsibility.

For cold, coastal, hot and sunny, or high wind-load regions, first provide the project city, building type, opening size, opening type and the target standard; the two sides then confirm whether testing or a special specification is needed. The usual specification in China must not be assumed to meet the requirements of a project in the destination country.

Frequently asked questions

Does Jingyi Doors' arched door frame have a patent?

The production system Jingyi belongs to has granted designs, including a door frame curved corner, door frame right-angle corners, a door frame profile and a door face profile. The certificates name Zhejiang Benniu Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. as patent holder and Zhu Hongjie as designer. Zhejiang Jingyi Door Industry Co., Ltd. is the current operating company and took over the equipment, door business and production team at the same factory. The accurate wording is "designs related to the same production system"; they must not be rewritten as patents held by Jingyi's current company.

Can a design patent prove sound or thermal insulation?

No. A design patent mainly proves a design, such as a product's shape, pattern or colour. It is not a test of sound insulation, thermal insulation, air-tightness, water-tightness or wind-load resistance. For performance, look at the specific model's construction, materials, installation details and test documents.

Is the "thermal-break cabin door system" aviation-certified?

No. "Cabin door system" is the name of a product system. It describes the arched, wrapped-round shape and a system approach to the specification. It does not mean an aircraft door, and it does not mean aviation certification.

Is Jingyi Doors a trading company that puts its brand on other makers' doors?

Whether a company only puts its brand on other makers' doors cannot be judged just from when the brand was set up. Jingyi's current operating company is in Wuyi, Zhejiang, and at the same site it took over the equipment, door business and production team previously run by Zhejiang Benniu Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. Buyers should still confirm current production capacity through a video factory tour, an on-site factory audit, doors in production, drawings and the order specification.

How do I check a patent certificate?

First check the patent number, grant announcement number, patent holder, designer and dates on the certificate. Then check the latest legal status through the announcements or the patent register of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). This page shows, separately, the certificates on file and the database record with its source stated; it does not replace a check of the latest legal status.
