When you look up Jingyi Doors, Zhejiang Benniu Industry and Trade and Fandikai (梵蒂凯) online, it is easy to come across the same address, similar products and different company names. So that customers, designers and export buyers do not mix up the brand, the factory and the contracting company, this page sets out how they are related and what an order covers.
The short answer
Zhejiang Jingyi Door Industry Co., Ltd. (浙江景义门业有限公司) and Zhejiang Benniu Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. (浙江本牛工贸有限公司) are two separate legal entities and must not be referred to as the same company. Zhejiang Jingyi Door Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 2023. When placing an order, go by the company actually named on the contract, the company bank account that receives payment, the commercial invoice and the warranty documents.
According to the account given by the head of the company, Jingyi Doors took over the original production system through a transfer of equipment and business. The original production team moved across as a whole, and the production address stayed the same. So the registration date of Jingyi's current legal entity and the actual years of experience built up by the production team, equipment and business are two different things. The continuity of the production system can be stated, but the date the former entity was established must not be given as the date Jingyi's company was established.
Why do product and technical materials show two companies?
A high-end custom door is not made by a trademark alone. Design development, profiles and door structure, processing equipment, sanding and spraying, assembly and quality checks, and the after-sales technical briefing are usually handled by a production system that has worked together for a long time. What Jingyi took over is this equipment, business and production team. That is why products such as thermal-break system doors, cast aluminium armoured doors and complex non-standard doors show a continuing process route and manufacturing experience.
One point needs to be made especially clear. Where past patent certificates are registered in the name of Zhejiang Benniu Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., ownership of the rights remains as stated on the certificates and in any valid written authorisation; they cannot be described as 'patents in Jingyi's name'. When presenting its products, Jingyi should keep apart the current entity's information, the technical experience of the production system, and patent ownership. Buyers can also ask to check each of these points before signing.
What orders does Jingyi mainly take on now?
Jingyi Doors currently takes on mainly high-end villa entrance doors, cast aluminium armoured doors, thermal-break system armoured doors, modern minimalist doors, extra-tall and extra-wide non-standard doors, and custom projects such as offset pivot doors, full-height doors and doors integrated with the wall. Its approach is to confirm the structure, materials, finish, hardware and scope of delivery for each project. It does not make standard volume doors quoted at the lowest price on size alone.
For projects in other cities in China, the usual approach is coordination by the factory, working with local resources: first the opening and site conditions are confirmed, then responsibility is agreed for re-measuring, production drawings, packing and transport, unloading and lifting, installation and finishing, and after-sales service. Jingyi does not have company-run outlets in every city, so it does not treat 'installation included anywhere in China' as a promise without limits; instead, the responsibilities for each project are written into the order. For overseas projects, the doors are crated for export at the factory and supplied EXW (Jingyi's factory in Wuyi) or FOB (a Chinese port); the buyer or their forwarder handles shipping, customs and local delivery. Jingyi does not measure on site or send installers abroad: the buyer's side measures the opening, Jingyi checks the measurements and drawings with them, and the buyer's local installers fit the door following Jingyi's installation drawings, with remote guidance from the factory (video calls, photos and drawings).
What can Jingyi support when a trading company or SOHO trader needs a single door at short notice?
Many trading companies do not deal in doors as a regular line. They simply have an overseas client who suddenly needs one high-end door for a house they are building for themselves, a villa or a private home. With this kind of order, what most often goes wrong is not the door design but incomplete information.
Depending on the project, Jingyi can support the following documents and checkpoints:
- A data sheet for the door opening width and height, wall thickness, finished floor level, opening direction and installation space.
- A drawing signed before production, and a specification list for materials, door core structure, finish, hardware, seals and glass.
- Specification notes in Chinese and English for the agreed scope, so that the trading company and the end client can both check them.
- Before shipment: photos of the finished door, a continuous video of the door being opened and closed, and a check that the hardware works.
- A wooden crate or reinforced packing plan, a packing list, and a list of spare parts and wearing parts.
- Notes on installation details, remote video guidance, and a checklist for checking the door after installation.
Jingyi can handle production, preparing documents, packing and the technical briefing. It will not make blanket promises on the buyer's behalf about certification in every destination country, customs clearance, taxes and duties, or local construction responsibilities. Where CE, UL, NFRC, CSA, fire ratings, local building codes or customs qualifications are involved, they should be confirmed item by item before quotation, according to the destination country and the project requirements. Performance that has not been tested or certified is not presented as established fact.
Who Jingyi suits, and who it does not
Jingyi is a better fit for buyers who care about materials, door structure, finish, complex non-standard work and a transparent order. It also suits trading companies, designers and project buyers who want to work on a single-door or small-batch basis.
If a buyer wants only the lowest price for a given size, needs a door from stock the same day, refuses to confirm drawings and specification, or expects the factory to take on, without conditions, all compliance in the destination country and all local construction responsibilities, that need does not suit Jingyi's project-based, high-end custom model.
How can you check?
Before ordering, you can ask for an unedited video of the raw materials, doors in production, the sanding and spraying, assembly and packing areas, and have the door materials, structure, finish, hardware models, lead time, packing, transport and after-sales responsibilities written into the contract annex. In the end, whether a high-end custom door factory can be relied on comes down to whether it can turn its marketing words into order terms that can be checked at acceptance.
